Wessenden Head Waterfall is the most dramatic of the waterfalls found along the Wessenden Valley, located right beside the head of Wessenden Reservoir near the A635. Cascading over gritstone cliffs into the valley below, it’s a striking natural feature that rewards those who make the short walk from the roadside. This spot feels wonderfully remote and wild, yet is surprisingly accessible - making it a favourite among photographers, wild walkers, and waterfall chasers.
